Serie A club strengthen options in midfield with new signings

Palermo have reinforced their midfield with the arrival of Armin Bacinovic and Josip Ilicic from Maribor.
The Italian club announced the capture of the duo on Saturday with a short statement on their official website.
Slovenia midfielder Bacinovic, 20, began his career at native club Maribor, while 22-year-old fellow international Ilicic has also played for Slovenian outfits Bonifika and Interblock.
The pair will not feature against Cagliari when Serie A gets underway on Sunday as the deal will not be finalised in time.
The two players are instead expected to watch the Rosanero clash from the stands at Sicilian club.
