Giorgio Chiellini has revealed that he will soon meet with Juventus officials to discuss a contract extension.

The Italy defender is already tied to the club until 2013 but reports suggest he could be set to sign a lucrative new long-term deal.

Having stayed at Juve over the summer despite being heavily linked with a move elsewhere, Chiellini is now ready to officially commit his future to the Bianconeri.

"I agreed with Juventus that after the international fixtures we would see the directors to decide on my contract renewal," Chiellini told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

Chiellini helped Italy take maximum points from their first two Euro 2012 qualifiers, courtesy of victories away to Estonia and at home to Faroe Islands.

He was happy with the reception given to the players on Tuesday as Cesare Prandelli's men swept aside the Faroes 5-0.

"It was an important game for us and it was nice the way the fans welcomed the team in Florence," said the 26-year-old.
