Agent denies Hagen Inter link

The agent of Norway defender Erik Hagen has moved to dismiss talk of a switch to Internazionale.

According to speculation in Russia, the Saint Petersburg stopper is reportedly on the wish-list of the Milan giants as they look to find defensive cover for next season.

However, having looked into the rumours, agent Lars Petter Fosdahl has confirmed that Inter have made no official contact.

''We heard the same rumours six weeks ago,'' Fosdahl told VG.

''Then we sent a fax to Inter to enquire about it but we didn't get an answer.''

Hagen admits that he is flattered by the reported interest but that he is concentrating on his football with his present employers.

''This is all new to me,'' stated Hagen.

''Inter are a really big club in the football world but I don't think about this type of rumour.''
