Adriano: Inter departure
Former Inter Milan striker Adriano is unlikely to seek a move to a European club, according to his agent.
Inter announced on Friday that the Brazil international's contract had been cancelled after he went missing earlier this month and refused to return to Italy.
The 27-year-old, who joined Inter from Flamengo in 2001, has suffered a string of personal problems in recent years and he revealed he was taking a break from the game.
Adriano's agent, Gilmar Rinaldi, has now confirmed the forward is likely to eye a new club in his homeland, once he has overcome his troubles.
Rinaldi told Sky Italia. "Now Adriano is free to play where he wants, in Brazil or anywhere he would like.
"Right now he's not sure about what he will want to do. He had particular problems and we are working to solve them.
"He couldn't come back in Italy or Europe, he maybe could come back playing in Brazil, also for the national team."
