Milan goalkeeper Dida is doubtful for next week's UEFA Champions League clash after picking up a freak back injury.

The Brazilian custodian, who was on the bench against Parma on Saturday, suffered the injury as he attempted to leave his seat to go to the dressing room at half-time.

Dida's back is believed to have seized up as he stood up and he had to be stretchered off the pitch.

The injury was a recurrence of a problem which had sidelined Dida since last month and means the keeper is extremely doubtful for the trip to London.

If Dida misses out, Valerio Fiori is set to provide cover for Zeljko Kalac against Arsenal.
