AC Milan maintained their 100 per cent record in Group C, but they left it late to beat Braga 1-0 at the San Siro.

Ronaldinho's last-gasp goal gave the Italian giants a hard-fought win to move them to the top of the group.

The result was harsh on Braga who created the better chances in the game.

Wason Renteria wasted two good openings in the first-half and Cesar Peixoto was denied by Dida.

Braga had strong claims for a penalty waved away on the hour mark when Emerson appeared to trip Paulo Cesar in the box.

Soon after Ronaldinho came off the bench and the move paid off as the Brazilian grabbed the winner with virtually the last kick of the game.

Three minutes into injury-time Ronaldinho broke Braga's hearts when he found the net from 20 yards out.

Rout

Wolfsburg recorded their first win in the group with a convincing 5-1 victory over Heerenveen.

The Germans had to come from behind after Mika Vayrynen gave Hereenveen the lead on 31 minutes.

Wolfsburg quickly replied with Edin Dzeko drawing them level just three minutes later and Grafite turned the game on its head with a second on 39 minutes.

The home side dominated the second-half and Zvjezdan Misimovic added a third on 53 minutes before Dzeko made it 4-1 just past the hour mark with his second goal of the night.

Jacek Krzynowek rounded off a superb night for Wolfsburg on 71 minutes to give them their first points in the group.
