Parma have finally completed their long pursuit of Gabriel Paletta by sealing the signature of the former Liverpool defender.
The Italian club have been tracking the Boca Juniors centre-back for some time, but his injury problems prevented a deal.

Paletta spent a season at Liverpool, but only made three Premier League appearances, although he did score in the 4-3 Carling Cup victory over Reading, before returning to Argentina in 2007.
The Buenos Aires-born player made seven appearances for Argentina's Under 20 team, but has yet to represent the senior side.
