Fenin: Bundesliga hope

Two Bundesliga clubs have been linked with a move for Czech Republic starlet Martin Fenin.

The clubs, believed to be Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin, have both expressed their desire to sign a new striker with the FK Teplice star said to be top of their lists.

But connections at FK Teplice remain tight-lipped and have refused to say exactly which clubs have made an offer for the Under 20 star.

"We have agreed that we will not reveal the clubs' identities," FK Teplice club director Frantisek Hrdlicka told Sport.

"Nevertheless they are big clubs.

"The interested parties are arriving here on Thursday and a decision should be made by next week," he added.

"Until then we will sit down with Martin and discuss the whole thing. If we receive a satisfactory offer then the transfer will go ahead."

Options

The youngster, who played a big part in Czech Republic's Under 20 World Cup campaign, is said to prefer a move to Germany despite a club in La Liga expressing an interest.

"I would choose Germany," said Fenin. "It is closer to the Czech Republic and the language is easier for me.

"To play abroad has always been my dream. If I get a good offer I will take it," added Fenin.
