Ribery: Wants bigger squad
Franck Ribery is eager to see Bayern Munich bolster their squad before committing his long-term future to the Bundesliga giants.
The France international is currently in the second season of a four-year contract at the Allianz Arena having signed from Marseille in June 2007.
Ribery, 25, is just one of the host of star names to have been linked with a move to Manchester City in the January transfer.
The midfielder insists he is currently content with life in Germany but wants to see new signings brought in to improve Jurgen Klinsmann's squad and help them challenge for the UEFA Champions League crown.
He told L'Equipe: "I feel fine at Bayern, it is a great club. Die Bundesliga has less media coverage than other leagues like Spain or England.
"What would be important is to have a bigger squad. The officials are trying to get big players.
"What could help me to stay in the future is to see great players coming and see we would have the means to win the Champions League.
"Nowadays, I believe clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea or Barcelona have more chances to win the competition.
"I have already said if I could choose, I would immediately sign (Lyon midfielder) Jeremy Toulalan. In Ligue 1 there are some players that could help us.
"The officials want to make a lot of changes in the team, hiring big names, because we need it."
