Brazilian star Ze Roberto has revealed he has until the end of the month to decide if he is going to stay at Bayern Munich.

The former Brazil international returned for a second spell with the German giants in June 2007 on a two-year contract.

The 34-year-old midfielder has now been offered a one-year extension but is holding out for a longer deal.

The former Flamengo and Santos man has already spent 11 years playing in Europe for Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern and feels he still has much to offer.

Deadline

Captain Mark van Bommel finally agreed to a one-year contract extension in March and Bayern bosses have given Ze Roberto a deadline to make his decision.

"I have been told by the club I should reply by the end of April," he told Bild.

"So far the chances are 50-50 as far as I see it. If I maintain my fitness I believe I can play two or three more years at the highest level in Europe."

Ze Roberto is in his sixth season with Bayern and has won the German double four times with the club, scoring 14 goals in 162 appearances.
