Breno: Wants regular football
Bayern Munich have confirmed Breno could be loaned out during the Bundesliga's winter break in December.
The 20-year-old centre back has made just six appearances for Bayern since he moved to Munich from Sao Paulo for £11.2 million in 2008 with home-grown Holger Badstuber making the most of his first team opportunities.
With Belgium's Daniel van Buyten, Argentina's Martin Demichelis also competing alongside Badstuber for a place at the heart of Bayern's defence, Breno has hinted this week he wants to leave the German giants.
"If there is no change (to my situation) I have to move on," he told BILD.
"This summer they said I have to stay because Martin Demichelis was injured. Anyway, I am not getting any action as currently Badstuber is playing first-team. We will have to sit down this winter, this needs to be changed."
And Hoeness confirmed after Bayern beat 2-1 at Freiburg on Saturday to go fifth in the Bundesliga: "If we think we have enough central defenders, we may loan him out, but we won't sell him."
Alternatively, Hans-Jorg Butt is a Bayern player hoping to stick at the club after the goalkeeper declared his desire to stay at the Allianz Arena beyond his current contract which runs out in June next year.
"I can imagine playing on for one more season and probably one more," The current Bayern first-choice shot-stopper told BILD.
"But just if I am able to play on at the top level, I have no intension to carry on in lower leagues. I know I have got the chance to do so at Bayern Munich.
"Fact is I am very happy at the club and I am feeling great to know I am the first-choice goalkeeper of this club. I am happy should the club be interested in a new contract with me. I would not rule this out."
Meanwhile, Helmut Markwort, member of the supervisory board of Bayern, has criticised manager Louis van Gaal for his decision to buy Dutch international Edson Braafheid this summer.
"I am not such an expert like Louis van Gaal, I am just in the stands," Markwort told German television.
"But I really cannot understand why he said we would require a player such as Mr Braafheid.
"This is a secret van Gaal keeps. On Saturday I felt the manager of Freiburg only told his players to focus on Braafheid as this is simply the easiest way to get behind the Bayern defence."
