Bayern Munich have confirmed that Daniel van Buyten, Thomas Muller and Holger Badstuber have all agreed new contract extensions at the Allianz Arena.

Former Manchester City defender Van Buyten has signed a two-year extension, while prospects Muller and Badstuber are now tied to the Bavarian giants until 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Belgium international Van Buyten, 31, has spent the past five years in the Bundesliga having played for Hamburg and then Bayern following a loan spell at Eastlands.

Muller, 20, has benefited from recent injuries to stars Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, while his form is also credited with keeping the vastly-experienced Miroslav Klose on the bench.

"We are delighted to have been able to agree contract extensions with each of these three players," said Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

"In the near future, we will also hold talks with the other players whose contracts are expiring at the end of the season to set the foundations for the future."
