Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have joined a host of clubs tracking Hamburg striker Ivica Olic.

The Croatia international looks certain to leave the Rothosen at the end of the season and Bayern have now officially joined Juventus and Valencia in the chase to capture the 29-year-old.

"We are convinced that Ivica would ideally suit our two strikers Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild.

"Another good thing about him is that he is out of contract at the end of the season. We will do everything possible to sign him for next season," he added.

Olic joined Hamburg in January 2007 from CSKA Moscow and has scored 24 goals in 65 Bundesliga appearances.
