Marcel Meeuwis has agreed to join Borussia Monchengladbach on a three-year deal from Roda JC.
The midfielder's contract with Roda was not set to expire until 2012 but Monchengladbach have managed to secure his services for next season.
The 28-year-old will officially link up with the German side at the start of July and he is relishing the challenge.
"I have always wanted to play in the Bundesliga and now that will happen with a fantastic club," Meeuwis told L1.
Monchengladbach have yet to secure their Bundesliga survival but they only need a point from Saturday's final game of the season against Borussia Dortmund.
