Italian side Chievo Verona have confirmed the signing of USA midfielder Michael Bradley from Borussia Monchengladbach.

The 24-year-old is a regular for his national side but fell out of favour at Monchengladbach and spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.

However, Bradley only made three appearances for the Premier League outfit, with new Villa boss Alex McLeish opting not to extend the midfielder's stay at Villa Park beyond the end of the season.

After a summer-long search for a new club the former Heerenveen man has finally sealed a move to Serie A.

Verona officially unveiled Bradley on Wednesday, with the player reportedly signing a two-year deal with the Gialloblu.
