Swedish club Helsingborg have admitted there is interest from abroad in goalkeeper Par Hansson.

The 25-year-old has been a rumoured target for Dutch sides Ajax and Heerenveen but until now no interest had been confirmed.

However, both the player and his club remained tight-lipped over who is in fact leading the chase.

"It's true but it's not surprising that foreign clubs are interested," the club's sporting director, Jesper Jansson, told Fotbolldirekt.se.

And Hansson added: "It's obvious that it is flattering to hear [but] I don't know which clubs are interested."

Hansson was first drawn to the attention of Eredivisie sides earlier this year after making his international debut for Sweden.
