Guidetti: Has been given penalty duties at Feyenoord
Feyenoord coach Ronald Koeman has named on-loan Manchester City striker John Guidetti as his first-choice penalty taker.
The 19-year-old Swede, who is spending the season at De Kuip, has impressed for the Rotterdammers so far, converting two spot-kicks in as many games.
"I knew (what he could do). I had seen John take many penalties on DVD and he is outstanding. With us that has now been proved," Koeman told Voetbal International.
"When we're 3-0 up players often want to take a penalty, but at 0-0 it's less common. John has no problem with that, he is the right man."
Koeman witnessed Jerson Cabral and Ricky van Haaren argue over who would take a 79th minute penalty in the 4-0 win over De Graafschap on Saturday before captain Ron Vlaar eventually told Guyon Fernandez to step up.
The coach says Vlaar is in charge of making the decision should Guidetti not be on the pitch.
He added: "(It's up to) Ron Vlaar to determine who will stand behind the ball."
