Barcelona midfielder Deco has declared himself fit and ready to face Manchester United in their UEFA Champions League semi-final showdown.

Deco has not played since injuring himself in the warm-up prior to the match against Villarreal at the start of March, but the Portuguese ace has now made himself available for Frank Rijkaard.

The midfield schemer could start against United with Thierry Henry struggling to make the game because of illness.

"I'm 100 per cent ready, and could even have played at the weekend, it was the coach's decision not to use me," said Deco.

Repeat

Deco has enjoyed previous success against United helping Porto knock them out four years ago and he is keen to repeat the trick.

"The game I played with Porto at Old Trafford in 2004 was emotional. It was one of those unforgettable nights for a footballer," added Deco.

"I hope I can repeat it with Barcelona. We have to think about carving out a good result at home."
