Terry: Shoulder injury
John Terry is confident he will be fit for the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester United despite suffering a partial dislocation of the shoulder.
The Chelsea defender was stretchered off in only the 10th minute of his side's 1-1 draw with Bolton after colliding with his own goalkeeper Petr Cech.
He was taken to hospital for X-rays but has been encouraged by the news and is hoping to return in Moscow on 21st May.
"The arm is OK," Terry told Sky Sports. "It's just a dislocation that they managed to pop back in before I went to hospital so I'm pleased with that.
"There's no break so with three or four days' rest it's going to be OK."
Asked if he would be fit for the Champions League final, Terry replied: "I should be, fingers crossed."
Chelsea's draw with Bolton mattered little in the title race as Manchester United won at Wigan to secure top spot.
Terry added: "I got back just before the start of the second half and I was just flicking between the two games in the dressing room.
"They've been very good this year and we respect them, they have been fantastic. They are top of the league and they deserve to be there."
Terry accepts that it was disappointing to miss out on the title on the final game of the season but he is now hoping Chelsea can get the better of United in Europe.
He explained: "Moscow is a different story and we are aiming for that.
"That (the Champions League) has been the one missing from my list and the Chelsea fans.
"Overall that is the big trophy I want but I'm still thoroughly disappointed that we've not won the league.
"We've dropped a few points late in games as we did here and I think that's cost us, but all credit to Man United."
