Grant: Not getting involved in mind games

Chelsea boss Avram Grant has shrugged off Sir Alex Ferguson's claims that Manchester United have the advantage ahead of next week's Uefa Champions League final.

Ferguson is confident United can complete a Premier League and Champions League double in Moscow after pipping Chelsea to the domestic title.

The wily Scot believes United will go into the game in a better frame of mind than Chelsea following their Premier League success.

However, Grant is refusing to get involved in Ferguson's mind games and is confident his side can claim their first ever European Cup success in Moscow.

No advantage

"No team has the advantage and Sir Alex can say whatever he likes," said Grant.

"They want to take the Champions League and we want to take the Champions League but no team has an advantage before the game."

"I'm very confident we can beat United. We beat them two weeks ago at Stamford Bridge.

"I don't think they're better than us. In these games small things make the difference. It's very exciting because it's the first time my club are in the Champions League final."
