Jose Mourinho believes Inter need just three more points to ensure qualification to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

The Italian champions started the game against Dynamo Kiev bottom of Group F but after two late goals from Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder saw themselves climb to the summit.

The 2-1 win was the Nerazzurri's first win in the competition for eight matches and leaves Mourinho's men in pole position going into the final two group clashes.

Inter travel to Barcelona, who have just five points from four games, next time out before finishing with Rubin Kazan at the San Siro.

It all could have been so different for Inter after Andriy Shevchenko had given Kiev a half-time lead but having dominated proceedings after the interval Mourinho is eyeing just one more win to progress.

"It was a fantastic performance, with heart, emotion, desire and unity," he said.

"I've done some quick calculations and I think that nine points will be enough (to qualify). We have six, we need three more.

"Things would have been much more complicated with a draw or a defeat.

"It gives belief to the team and, I hope, the fans, who will all have to be there for our last match against Rubin Kazan. We must win this match at home."
