Moyes: Will be watching final

Everton boss David Moyes admits he will be watching the Uefa Cup final this week feeling his side should have been there.

The Toffees made a major impact on the Uefa Cup this season, including a win over finalists Zenit St Petersburg in the group stage, before going out on penalties to Fiorentina in the last 16.

Now Moyes will watch Rangers take on Zenit in the final at The City of Manchester Stadium thinking what could have been.

"We really enjoyed it, the supporters really enjoyed it and I think we were good for Europe," he told Sky Sports News.

"I am going to watch the Uefa Cup final this week with a little bit of disappointment that we weren't in it.

"But you have to earn the right, and have a little bit of luck along the way.

"Looking forward to next year, it is great to be back in Europe so many clubs have been striving to do so

"The players at Everton did a great job in getting there."
