Motherwell have been drawn against Welsh side Llanelli in the first qualifying round of the Europa League.

The SPL side will begin their season on 2nd July, with a home match.

Although their opening clash with Llanelli will not be played at their Fir Park home, but at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium.

Work is being carried out to repair the Fir Park playing surface and that will not be finished in time for the first leg.

If Motherwell make it through to the second round, they will face Albania's KS Flamurtari.

Fellow SPL outfit Falkirk went straight into the second qualifying round, and they will face FC Vaduz of Liechtenstein.

Elsewhere in the first-round draw, Northern Ireland's Lisburn have been drawn against Georgian side Zestafoni - the winners of the match Helsingborgs or FC MIKA.

Another Northern Irish side, Linfield, will take on Danish outfit Randers, while TNS of Wales will play Icelandic club Fram, and if they win that they will tackle Lithuania's FK Suduva.

Bangor City of Wales were also seeded into the second round, and they were drawn against FC Honka Espoo.from Finland.

Also in the second round are Northern Ireland's Crusaders and they will play FK Rabotnicki.
