Glentoran were left with a mountain to climb in the second leg of their Europa League first qualifying round tie, after crashing to a 3-0 defeat at KR Reykjavik.

Gudmundur Reynir Gunnarsson put the Icelandic side in front in the 12th minute and Kjartan Finnbogason doubled their lead 20 minutes later.

However, Dundalk grabbed what could prove to be a valuable equaliser 10 minutes from time when the unfortunate Khalid Benichou turned the ball into his own net.

Llanelli were also held to a draw, but managed to twice come from behind against Tauras.
