Sporting Lisbon battled from two goals down to win their tie against Brondby 3-2 on aggregate to go through to the Europa League group stage.

The Portuguese giants were 2-0 down on aggregate from the first leg, but came back to win 3-0 away in Denmark, with Yannick Djalo grabbing the decisive goal in the 90th minute.

Belgian side AA Gent pulled off a surprise result to put out Dutch giants Feyenoord with a 2-0 victory to win 2-1 on aggregate.

Feyenoord's one goal lead proved not to be enough as goals from Soumaharo Yaya and Elimane Coulibaly either side of half-time dumped out Mario Been's side.

Fellow Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar made it through their tie against Aktobe despite a 2-1 defeat in the Tcentralny Stadium to win 3-2 on aggregate.

Pontus Wernbloom grabbed a goal after nine minutes which proved to be enough for AZ, despite a spirited fight back from the opposition to make things interesting late on.

Napoli got to the next round with a routine 2-0 win at Swedish side Elfsborg to seal the tie 3-0 on aggregate.

Two goals from new Uruguayan recruit Edinson Cavani got the job done in a 10-minute spell towards the end of the first half for the Italian side.

Getafe had to play extra-time against Greek side APOEL Nicosia to go through 2-1 on aggregate after Ailton Almeida had levelled matters shortly before half-time.

Another Greek side, Aris Salonika also won their tie thanks to a 1-1 draw with Austria Vienna in the Franz Horr Stadium, with a goal from Guatemalan forward Carlos Ruiz in the first half helping to put them through 2-1on aggregate.
