Lagerback: Positive
Sweden coach Lars Lagerback is optimistic ahead of the Euro 2008 opener against Greece thanks to a fully fit squad.
The Swede has all of his players at his disposal after doubts over Internazionale's striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic - who has returned from a knee injury and is back training with the squad whilst receiving intensive treatment everyday.
Despite the initial worries, Lagerback, who will retire after the competition, is now confident his side will be a force to be reckoned with in Group D.
"It has felt very good. We have followed the plans to 100 per cent," the 59-year-old told Sportbladet.
"All players who have been question marks have responded positively. I have nothing to blame if we fail to produce against Greece."
Meanwhile, Ibrahimovic, who feels he is still in the Swedish media firing line, will have a point to prove as he recovers from his injury and is eager to feature in the European Championships.
He added: "I have felt misunderstood during my entire career. I would not have been here if it was not necessary."
After the Greece opener, Sweden will face Spain on 14th June, and then Russia four days later in Innsbruck.
