Jeremy Toulalan is confident France will perform better against Holland following a sterile opening game against Romania.

France had been expected to start Euro 2008 on a winning note against Romania, who are the outsiders in the 'Group of Death'.

But a disjointed display from Les Bleus only secured a 0-0 draw as Raymond Domenech's side failed to seriously trouble Romania keeper Bogdan Lobont.

Next up for France is a game against Holland, who sparkled in their first match of the tournament with a 3-0 win over world champions Italy.

Easier

Toulalan, who replaced the injured Patrick Vieira in the team against Romania, feels playing a team of Holland's class will work in France's favour.

"It is sometimes easier to play against the bigger teams," said Toulalan.

"If the Dutch come and play a little more and not like the Romanians, it will be better for us. We are ready for what is coming.

"We tried, but it was a difficult match, especially with Romania not playing too much football."
