Romanian star Marius Niculae insists he would have no problems staying with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The 27-year-old, currently with his country on Euro 2008 finals duty, has been linked with a return to former club Sporting Lisbon.
Niculae spent four-years with Sporting from 2001 to 2005, before he joined Standard Liege and then Mainz.
He moved to Inverness last summer after a long-battle to gain a work-permit and he repaid the club with ten goals and in-so-doing earned himself a place in Romania's squad for Austria & Switzerland.
"I know about things but do not want to be disrespectful to Inverness," Niculae told the Sunday Mail when asked about Sporting's interest.
"I have a year left and it will not be a problem for me to stay next season.
"But if clubs make official contact with Inverness it is up to them what they decide to do. I will wait and see what happens.
"I'm just thinking about the Euro Championships for now as I'm enjoying it out here.
"I was happy with my contribution at Inverness. I hope to help the club to success but you never know what is round the corner."
