Matejovsky's tournament comes to an end
Reading have confirmed that midfielder Marek Matejovsky suffered ankle ligament damage at Euro 2008.
The 26-year-old was replaced by David Jarolim six minutes before half-time in Czech Republic's dramatic 3-2 defeat to Turkey on Sunday night.
He was taken off on a stretcher and will now undergo tests as Reading wait to discover the full extent of the problem.
Physio Jon Fearn told the club's official website: "I have spoken to the Czech medical team and they've confirmed it is an ankle ligament injury.
"Marek will now have a scan in Prague to ascertain the extent of the damage.
"We'll continue to liaise to decide on his recovery process but it is too early to predict how long he'll be out."
Matejovsky had been left out of Czech Republic's opening group game against Switzerland before coming in for the 3-1 loss to Portugal.
