Kranjcar: Backing Croatia progress
Niko Kranjcar is confident that Croatia can continue their winning run at Euro 2008 and reach the semi-finals for the first time.
Croatia face Turkey on Friday for a place in the last four and spirits are high amongst Slaven Bilic's men after topping their qualifying group and overcoming Germany to progress to the quarter-finals.
Croatia also beat Austria and Poland to finish with a 100 per cent record in Group B and Portsmouth midfielder Kranjcar has backed them to clinch another victory in Vienna.
"This team has proved its worth many times and we are ready to do it again," he said.
"Winning our group has given us a lot of confidence that we can advance into the semi-finals.
"We have plenty of individual quality and a great chance of going through if we are on top of our game.
"We have to string together as many passes as we can, keep possession and take control in midfield to overcome the Turks."
Croatia will be without defender Dario Knezevic and striker Igor Budan, who have been ruled out of the tournament through knee injuries.
