Aragones: Will be leaving
Luis Aragones insists he will not remain Spain coach, even if the national team win Euro 2008.
The veteran boss has led Spain to the semi-finals of the European Championship for the first time in 24 years.
Sunday's penalty shoot-out win over world champions Italy has set up a last-four showdown with Group D rivals Russia in Vienna on Thursday evening.
There have been suggestions that Aragones could be tempted to stay on as coach, but the 69-year-old says his tenure will be over after the tournament.
"I would like to thank everyone for the compliments," Aragones told a news conference.
"But the Federation and all of you know that this will come to an end whatever happens at this tournament.
"All I can say is that I'm proud of the results and proud that the hard work has paid off.
"We have created a great group with a great atmosphere. But I'm not going to get involved in whether they should offer me another contract or not.
"It is over and that is it."
Reports in Spain have claimed that Aragones will take over as coach of Fenerbahce after the Turkish club parted company with Zico.
