Terim: Planning for the World Cup
Fatih Terim is to remain as Turkey manager until after the 2010 World Cup.
Turkey were eliminated from the semi-finals of Euro 2008 by Germany on Wednesday and speculation suggested Terim could return to club management.
However, the Turkish Football Federation has confirmed that Terim will remain in charge for at least another two years.
"Terim is in his post and will be the head of our team in the 2010 World Cup," said a statement on the official website of the Turkish Football Federation.
The 54-year-old has previously coached Milan, Fiorentina and Galatasaray.
