Platini: Discussions
Uefa has said that their visit to inspect the progress of Ukraine's preparations for co-hosting Euro 2012 was 'useful'.
Ukraine are due to stage the European Championship in four years' time in a joint effort with Poland and a 10-man Uefa delegation team has been viewing preparations.
Uefa is confident Ukraine are committed to delivering the necessary standards to host the tournament, but stopped short of offering the praise awarded to co-hosts Poland on Wednesday.
A statement said: "Uefa considers the visit by its official delegation to Ukraine to have been useful, yielding much information.
"Uefa notes that the fact that the Ukrainian government is committed to doing everything possible to meet the requirements needed for a well-organised Euro 2012."
There have been concerns that Ukraine will not have prepared the necessary stadia in time for the competition.
But the Polish sports ministry, after talks between Poland's leaders and Uefa president Michel Platini, is confident they will still be allowed to host the tournament.
The Polish sports ministry said in a statement: "They (Uefa) consider that plans are being handled in a professional way, following the best possible examples and in tight co-operation with Uefa experts.
"If the project continues in the same manner as over the past months, it will be a success."
