Out-of-contract Halmstad player Tim Sparv may be leaving the club during the summer.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who came through the Southampton academy, claims that a number of clubs are interested in signing him.

A string of impressive performances for the Finland Under-21 team have brought him to the attention of European clubs.

Although Sparv looks likely to leave the Swedish club, he has not completely ruled out signing a new contract with Halmstad.

"Either I will sign a new contract with Halmstad or I will leave already now. There are clubs who are interested," he told Sportbladet.

Sparv recently scored a penalty in a 2-1 defeat to England during the European Under-21 Championship.
