Bjarsmyr: Set for move
IFK Gothenburg have admitted that they are set to lose Swedish Under-21 captain Mattias Bjarsmyr.
Bjarsmyr is currently with his national squad as they compete in the European Championship, and he will lead his side against England in the semi-finals on Friday.
Bjarsmyr has performed well during the tournament and reports now claim that Greek giants Panathinaikos are lining up a move.
Previously the likes of Birmingham, Blackburn, Celtic and Club Brugge have also been linked.
Now IFK sporting director Hakan Mild has admitted that they will not be able to keep hold of Bjarsmyr.
"I haven't heard of Panathinaikos," Mild told Expressen.
"But we are ready to lose Mattias. He is a gifted player that clubs are interested in.
"It's in our calculations for the future that we will lose him."
But Mild admitted that they were yet to receive any firm offers.
"It's mostly recognition of interest from agents. But it's not far distant that we will get a bid soon," he said.
