GAIS star Wanderson admits he is delighted by news that Chelsea are tracking him.

The 23-year-old has just starred for GAIS in the Swedish season and his performances attracted interest from a number of clubs.

The likes of Ajax and Heerenveen were understood to be leading the race for the midfielder.

But it has emerged that Chelsea were present to watch Wanderson in GAIS' game with Malmo late last month.

And now the talented South American is being linked with a move to West London.

"I was overjoyed when I heard that Chelsea where there to look at me," Wanderson told The Gothenburg-Posten.

"Chelsea is a club that I really could consider playing for."

GAIS have confirmed that they would be willing to sell for the right price.

"For three million we are willing to let Wanderson go," said GAIS director Sebastian Arby.
