Jonsson: Reported Stoke target
Stoke target Markus Jonsson has revealed that he could stay with current club AIK Solna in Sweden.
The 28-year-old right-back, who has turned down an offer from Norwegian side Molde, is reportedly on Tony Pulis' wish-list but it is thought the Potters have yet to approach AIK for the player
Jonsson, who has won four international caps for Sweden, has also attracted interest from a number of Championship clubs, as well as Danish outfit Aalborg, but could now remain in Sweden.
"I have had a good talk with (manager) Mikael Stahre and he wants me to stay," he told Expressen.
"I am going to meet with them tomorrow (Thursday). I'll meet Bjorn (Wesstrom, sporting director) and Stahre tomorrow one more time. We'll see what happens.
"They want to learn how I look at the situation and what I think. They want to know where I am."
AIK are reigning champions of the Swedish top flight although it is currently off-season in the Allsvenskan.
