Argentine striker Mauro Boselli admits he knows nothing about reported interest from Manchester City.

Reports have claimed City are ready to make a summer move for the 23-year-old.

Boselli is currently playing for Estudiantes and is rated highly in his homeland, but it came as a shock when he was linked with a big money switch to City.

And the player himself admits he knows nothing of the mooted interest from Eastlands.

"I was surprised when a journalist told me that in England it is being said that Manchester City were interested in me," he said.

"If there is something real, my agent or officials from the club will let me know - but for the moment there is nothing.

"Of course it would be a pleasure to play in such an important league, but nobody has said anything to me.

"I am currently having a good time with Estudiantes and now we have qualified for the next round of the Copa Libertadores my mind is on that.

"If there was a real proposition and it's good for me and Estudiantes, it would not be a problem."
