Francisco Alcacer claims his long-term future lies at Valencia, amid speculation linking him with Arsenal.

The 15-year-old striker recently caught the eye with a number of impressive showings at the U17 European Championship.

Among those to have taken note of his talents were Premier League giants Arsenal, who are renowned for their youth policy.

Reports suggested the Gunners were preparing to make their move this summer, keen to take Alcacer to England.

Their efforts may be in vain, however, as the youngster claims he has no desire to secure such a switch.

Dream

He admits to being flattered by the attention he is receiving but says his ambition is to force his way into the first-team fold at Mestalla.

"My dream is to play for Valencia," said Alcacer.

"In the next week I am expecting to meet with the directors here and it is possible that I will take part in pre-season with the first team.

"I am pleased to hear of the interest from big clubs but my heart is with Valencia.

"My future is with Valencia and the club shares my ambition."

Loanee

Meanwhile, Valencia have announced that Renan Brito is to spend the 2010/11 campaign on loan at Brazilian outfit Porto Alegre.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper spent last season with Primera Liga new boys Xerez, featuring in 35 of their 38 games.

He returned to Valencia at the end of the season, but is still well down the pecking order with Los Che.

Brito will now return to his homeland in time for the new Brazilian season and will be hoping to hold down regular first-team football once more.
