Scolari: Keeping options open

Luiz Felipe Scolari claims to have six 'interesting' proposals to consider after leaving Bunyodkor.

The Brazilian resigned from his post with the Uzbek club on Friday after failing to win the Asian Champions League.

He signed an 18-month contract in June 2009, but has decided to vacate the post ahead of schedule.

Scolari was able to land the Uzbekistan league title during his time in the job, but could only reach the last eight of the Asian Champions League.

With Bunyodkor reported to be experiencing financial difficulties, he feels the time has come to move on.

Mutual consent

"The contract was terminated by mutual agreement," said the former Chelsea and Portugal coach.

"Both sides will gain from it."

Scolari is now set to leave his options open until after this summer's World Cup, but admits there has already been plenty of interest in his services.

"I have six offers: two from Europe, two from the Middle East and two from Brazil," he said.
