SC Freiburg have snapped up Japan international Kishi Yano and Belarus midfielder Anton Putsilo.

Striker Yano has joined from Japanese top-flight outfight Albirex Niigata for an undisclosed fee, while Putsilo has switched from Dinamo Minsk.

The Bundesliga outfit announced on their official website that Yano, 26, has agreed terms with the club and could feature against VFB Stuttgart on 11th September.

With regular forward Tommy Bechmann sidelined for two months with a knee injury, Freiburg sporting director Dirk Dufner is delighted to have secured the services of the hitman.

"Signing Yano close to the transfer deadline is a win for Freiburg. In recent years, he has consistently proven his qualities in Japan's top division," Dufner said.

Yano played two games for the Blue Samurai at this summer's World Cup in South Africa and has a total of 19 international caps to his name.

Meanwhile, Putsilo, who has scored three goals and won 13 caps for his country, has arrived from Dinamo Minsk on a one-year contract.

The 23-year-old already has some experience in the Bundesliga after a season with Hamburg.
