Di Maria: Staying put
Angel Di Maria has distanced himself from reports claiming he could be set for an imminent move to England.
The Argentine winger has caught the eye this season with a number of impressive displays for Benfica.
The 21-year-old was the standout performer for the Portuguese outfit when they crushed Everton 5-0 at Estadio da Luz in the Europa League a fortnight ago.
Since then he has been strongly linked with a switch to the Premier League, with a host of clubs believed to be tracking his progress.
However, Di Maria insists he has no intention of moving on any time soon and claims his only concern at present is a return date with the Toffees on Thursday.
He said: "I am only thinking about Benfica and looking forward to playing the match tomorrow.
"I want to do my best for the club this season and then we will see what happens.
"We will have to be on top form as Everton are very strong at home and it will be different from Lisbon."
Benfica head to Goodison Park on the back of their first league defeat of the season, against Braga on Saturday.
They have also failed to win any of their last seven fixtures on the road in Europe.
Di Maria, though, remains unfazed and insists Jorge Jesus' side will be primed for action by the time they arrive on Merseyside.
"I am not that worried. It is not important," he added.
"We are not thinking about Braga now, only what we can do when we face Everton."
