Dominguez: Set for winter switch
A host of major clubs in Spain and Italy have registered their interest in Rubin Kazan star Alejandro Dominguez after he revealed he would leave the Russian champions in December, according to his agent.
Having expressed an interest in joining Espanyol last month, the level of clubs who want the Argentinian striker has gone up a level with AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Valencia all reported to be keen.
Dominguez told Rubin that he would not be signing a new deal with them when his current contract runs out in December and would leave the club under the Bosman Ruling.
Having spent six seasons in Russia, the 28-year-old is keen on trying his luck elsewhere and has stated that Spain would be his preferred destination.
Now his agent has revealed that as well as Barca, Atletico and Valencia, Dominguez has the option of considering Serie A as Juve and Milan could offer the impressive goalscorer a deal.
"I can confirm that in Serie A he is followed by Juventus and AC Milan, while in Spain there are four teams interested in the player," Jorge Cyterszpiler was quoted as saying in Italy.
"Names? Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Espanyol and Valencia."
