Everton have reached an agreement with Fenerbahce which will see Joseph Yobo leave the club on loan.

The Nigeria international is set to see out the remainder of the 2010/11 campaign in Turkey, when Fener will have the option to make the move permanent.

The deal will be finalised provided Yobo passes a medical and agrees personal terms with the Istanbul giants.

He is on his way to Turkey to finalise the switch, with the Turkish transfer window set to remain open until Wednesday.

Everton have allowed Yobo to leave after seeing him slip down the pecking order at Goodison Park.

He has not featured for the club in the Premier League so far this season and sat out Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa with a slight thigh problem.

The 29-year-old is now set to bring to an end an eight-year association with the Toffees, having joined the club from Marseille in 2002.
