Stearman: England call
Wolves defender Richard Stearman has been drafted into the England Under 21 squad for the play-off against Wales.
Stuart Pearce has called on Stearman after Manchester City's Micah Richards was forced to withdraw due to injury on Monday.
Richards completed the full 90 minutes of City's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday but picked up a knock.
Stearman, who has played a major role in Wolves' excellent start to the Championship season, will now hope to feature in the two-legged tie with Wales.
The first leg takes place at Cardiff's Ninian Park on Friday, with the second leg at Villa Park next Tuesday.
