England coach Fabio Capello believes the friendly against Spain next Wednesday will highlight how far the side have come under his leadership.

England have won their last five games under the Italian taking them to the top of their World Cup qualifying group.

During that run the Three Lions have defeated both Croatia and Germany on their own soil but Capello is wary of the threat that Spain will pose in Seville.

The Euro 2008 champions are currently unbeaten in two years, a period which covers 28 matches, scoring 33 goals and conceding just five in the process.

The Spaniards also top their qualifying group having won all four of their games and the former Real Madrid coach currently rates next week's opponents as the best in the world.

Special

"I'm looking forward to playing in Seville, it's going to be very special," he told Marca.

"I've always wanted to play in Spain with England and we are very happy to be facing the champions of Europe.

"At the Pizjuan (stadium) we will see at what level we find ourselves.

"For the team they have, age and level of confidence, they are one of the best in the world.

"Then it's Argentina, Brazil, Italy, the usual."
