Terry: Tips Jose
John Terry thinks Jose Mourinho would be a great choice as the next England coach.
The Chelsea and England skipper admits he was sad to see the departure of Steve McClaren - who appointed him captain for the national side.
However, Terry admits he would love to link up again with his former Chelsea mentor - who is one of the favourites for the role with most bookmakers, despite claims he does not want the job.
"Managers come and go and as I said before I am very disappointed for Steve McClaren," Terry told Chelsea TV.
"He gave me a great opportunity [England captaincy] but with Jose linked he is a fantastic manager and I would love to work with him again and with England he would be fantastic.
"But let's just wait and see but I am sure he would love it and who knows one day he could be England manager."
Terry, who missed England's defeat against Croatia which cost them their place at Euro 2008 and subsequently McClaren his job, makes his return from injury on Saturday at Derby.
