Norway's Erik Hagen has blasted Paul Dickov for his strong-handed approach during Scotland's defeat on Saturday.
Blackburn Rovers striker Dickov was booked in the first half of the match for kicking out wildly at Hagen - who was making his international debut.
Dickov came close to being sent off throughout the remainder of the match and the Norwegian was surprised by Dickov's temperament.
"Dickov's a physical player even though he's a small player," said Hagen.
"But I was a little surprised that for someone who has played so many games at international level, he lost his head so early.
"It was nice for me because it showed me I was having the better of him and so it made me feel good.
"It was a rough game with a lot of tackles and high balls into the penalty area but I was satisfied with my debut.
"It was a difficult start to the game for us but in the end I thought we won comfortably.
"That's not to say we won easily but we did deserve to win. I thought they might have put another attacker on late in the game to give them two strikers but we had control of them anyway and we coped with them well.
"They still have a chance to qualify but they have to start winning some away matches now and that will be tough for them."
