Stoke boss Tony Pulis believes centre-half Roberth Huth is deserving of an international recall.
The German defender has not figured for his country in two years, with Joachim Low overlooking him on a regular basis.
Huth does have 19 caps to his name, but has fallen behind Mats Hummels and Holger Badstuber in the battle to partner the more experienced Per Mertesacker at the heart of the back four.
He continues to give himself a chance of returning to the fold, though, with a number of commanding displays at club level earning widespread praise.

Magnificent
Pulis fears that playing for unfashionable Stoke may be responsible for holding Huth back at times, but feels that it is wrong.
He hopes the Potters' success this season, which has seen them reach the FA Cup final, will return the 26-year-old to Low's thoughts and see him given the recognition he deserves.
"Robert has been magnificent since he joined us and I would love for him to get another opportunity," said Pulis.
"Maybe he has had less attention back in Germany than he might have done, but I'm sure a cup final will help to get focus on him."
