Spain showed their class with an emphatic 4-0 win over USA in an international friendly in Massachusetts.

Spain were surprisingly beaten by USA in the 2009 Confederations Cup but have since gone on to become world champions.

And there were no signs of complacency as a strong Spanish XI, including several members of the UEFA Champions League-winning Barcelona side, cruised to victory.

Santi Cazorla opened the scoring after 28 minutes and Alvaro Negredo doubled Spain's advantage four minutes later.

Cazorla made it 3-0 before half-time and substitute Fernando Torres finished a disappointing season with a goal as he completed the rout.
